| The pedal effort of multiple disc cluches should always be lighter ....A twin disc offers twice the holding capacity of a single disc clutch and a triple disc will hold three times the torque of a single disc clutch....Because of this there is no need to make the pressure plate stiffer and you can acually make the pressure plate clamp load less then stock. The problem with an OS Giken is not the pedal pressure... The problem is there is so much friction area it is like an on/ off switch...No way to slip it at all and from fully released to fully engaged there is about 1/16" of movement :( Hope that helps :) :easier than the stock clutch. The pedal feels a lot lighter. Of course, I have a smaller dialmeter TO bearing. That is against what most people are saying about the triple disk clutches. :Hopefully soon I can comment on the ability to slip it:-) :
